Our programs are designed to assist children, young people and adults process the effects of grief, loss and change and help them build resilience and wellbeing.

What is a Companion?

Companions are accredited facilitators who deliver Good Grief's programs to children, young people and adults in schools and communities.


Train to become a Companion

Get involved ... to facilitate the Seasons for Growth program, you must be an accredited Companion. The first step is to undertake a two-day training workshop, available nationally.

Focussed on strengthening the social and emotional wellbeing of children, young people and adults dealing with significant loss or change.

Seasons for Healing

Supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in a culturally appropriate way as they learn about the often-complex experience of grief, loss and change.




Providing the opportunity for children and young people to examine how natural disasters such as bushfires, floods, cyclones and earthquakes have impacted on their lives.
